Music for the Moods

It's been a while since any one posted any music over here, so here are a couple of songs I've been listening to recently...

Thank you for posting these! This style of Jazz and music in general is my favorite - and also bonus points for posting that Betty Boop cartoon. I used to have it on VHS when I was younger and I thought it was interesting but watching it now it's almost frightening! But I truly love Cab Calloway <3 He was so cool and sexy in a strange way :)

Basically ~ your all kinds of fabulous.

I love this stuff too, and I'm with you on the Betty Boop, this little bit is kinda mad creepy. They had a really neat video of Cab Calloway doing St James Infirmary with Betty Boop that I thought was even creepier, http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-2808620857440368663# the style is just so amazing, it's all so dark, but in a very different way than a lot of the gothy stuff we love so much these days.

Thank you for sending me that :D
I truly have been looking to see more of these for a while ~
I actually find the creepiest part of these the live action reference animation of Calloway's dancing - because of its slow realistic motions. Fantastic though.

Cab Calloway doing Minnie the Moocher has been my favorite Jazz song for years.

I love St. James Infirmary! I have about three versions of that song on my computer. Hers is one by the White Stripes:
