book recommendations

I’m an avid reading, but lately I’ve been stuck in a rut. It feels like everything I read for the past few months or professional test or non-fiction words. I need some recommendations. I love the details of Marcel Proust and don’t mind children’s novels like A Little Princess.  So if you have any recommendations for me I would love to hear them!

My apologies for such a late post, but if I may, I would love to recommend the following: George MacDonald's children's books (such as The Princess and the Goblin and The Day Boy and the Night Girl), The Discworld Series by Terry Pratchett, anything by Neil Gaiman and Ray Bradbury, and the mysteries of both Arthur Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes and Agatha Christie's Hercule Poirot. If you have not already done so, I do hope that you pick them up and find them as enjoyable as I have.

I love Neil Gaiman! I'll look into your other suggestions as well.
